The hubs finally turned 26 and once again we are the same age! He is the hardest person I know to shop for. He has everything he needs, does not need any more clothes, and really throughout the year if he needs/wants something he gets it. So thank goodness he decided (with much debate from my end) to buy two bikes (that is a whole different story). So when he bought his second bike, a "road" bike I told him that he doesn't get any birthday presents because he spent way more than enough.
A few days passed and it was about a week before his birthday and he said "am I really going to have nothing to open on my birthday". The little sucker. Now I know that my parents will get him gifts, and my brother and girlfriend will give him something and his dad usually sends a gift card, and that's about it. So I said "well now from me you aren't". End of conversation.
Now me being the kind hearted soul that I am (he he) I decided to get him a present. His sister has been mentioning this cornhole game and we are both clueless about what it is, so every time we are out shopping he subconsciously looks for the game. Well we never found one because you pretty much have to order them. Soooo being the wonderful wife that I am, I ordered him a cornhole game for his birthday (it better be fun because it was pretty expensive, or more then I would want to spend on wood and bean bags). I had to give him the order form early because he is always checking the accounts!
On his real birthday, my family (mom, dad, Ted, and Anna) came over for a BBQ and ice cream cake and he was able to actually open up some presents. Poor deprived hubby...NOT, he was spoiled!
I decided to trick Matt with candles that relight themselves, but he saw the package... thank goodness he still played a long because those were the only candles that I had!
Happy Birthday Baby... here is to many many more together! I love you!
