Doctor Appointment

Today was a very busy/stressful day and i am glad it is over and that tomorrow is Friday! I had a doctor appointment at 7:45 am and I had to go all by myself since Matt is out of town. However, the going alone was my choice since I had about ten people offer to go with me. Since it wasn't an ultrasound appointment I declined all offers and went to the appointment solo. Upon arriving at the appointment I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack. What a wuss bag I am. The appointment started off with the normal "routine" and then I sat in the doctor's office, room number 4, for 15 minutes with a very annoying ticking clock. Apparently my doctor was stuck at the hospital and was hurrying over. To satisfy my time I took out my phone and I had two very comforting text messages, one from my hubby and the other from my fab sister-in-law. The texts really helped ease my mind just a bit since I was now sweating and becoming very nervous. After what seemed like forever, the doctor finally came in and my appointment lasted for all of 2 minutes. I did get to hear Baby G's heartbeat (158 beats per minute) and it was music to my ears! Sorry you missed it hunny!

After my appointment I rushed to school to get ready for the Student Council election assembly. My friend Chrissy and I decided to be the sponsors of student council and its been quite stressful already. We had about thirty 3-5 graders run for one of five positions and today at the assembly they did such an amazing job reading their speeches. I give these kids so much credit for standing up in front of their peers and explaining why they should be voted into a certain office. After the assembly Chrissy and I had our classes go to each 3rd-5th grade classroom and pass out/collect the ballots. Then we had our students cut apart the ballots and sort them according to position. Chrissy and I then had to count each candidates vote by the end of the day. We made our deadline and we are very excited to start our weekly meetings! I hope its not too time consuming!

Our big appointment is coming up soon... the 29th to be exact and I am counting down the days!! I cannot wait to find out the sex of Baby G!!
