19 Weeks!

The ONLY good thing about week 18 is that we found out we are having a boy!!! Otherwise, boo to you week 18. I thought I had allergies last Sunday and was given the ok to take Benadryl allergy medicine...helped with the runny nose, but then the coughing started on Tuesday. Wednesday we went to the doctor and I was told that I could take anything Tylenol. So off to the store we went and purchased some Tylenol cold medicine. It is working ok, still have a cough though! This was seriously the longest week of my life and I am glad it is over and we can start into week 19! The two bright sides to week were 1. finding out the sex of Baby G, and 2. crazy sock day at school (picture below)!

We have began picking out names for Baby G. Matt is making a list and I am making a list and when we are done compiling we will go through the lists and see if any of our picks are the same! But don't get too excited we will not post the name or tell anyone our picks until we have decided on Baby G's perfect name ourselves! I currently have 11 names on my list ha!

Baby G is moving around a lot more and although it is so weird, I love being able to feel him punch/kick me! The only things I am craving have to do with cheese! Pizza, grilled cheese, string cheese, queso and so on. Good thing I love cheese!

New updates with Baby G: Along with the lanugo, vernix caseosa is forming on Baby G's skin. Vernix is a white cheesy substance that protects baby's skin from its aquatic environment ~ imagine how your skin would look if you sat in water for nine months! The placenta is continuing to grow and nourish the baby. Baby G is about a half pound in weight and six inches long!

This week is going to be great...only 4 days of school! We have Fall Break on Friday! However it is class picture day on Tuesday..yuck. On Thursday Matt and I are going with our friends to see the Balloon Glowdeo and Fireworks and hopefully on Saturday we will go to Las Cruces to visit Justin! Friday is Sandia's Homecoming Game...seriously who schedules Homecoming during Fall Break..ug.
